Corkstown Road West - Full Closure - June 9-14

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Wesley Clover Parks should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Long-term closure of Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Wesley Clover Parks.
When:
Monday, June 9 at 6 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 14.
Why:
Culvert installation and electrical work.
Where:
Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Wesley Clover Parks. Detour signage will be in place to direct motorists.
Detour
Motorists wishing to access Corkstown Road to the west of Moodie Drive will proceed north on Moodie Drive to Carling Avenue. They will turn left on Carling Avenue and proceed westbound until reaching Herzberg Road, where they will turn left and proceed southbound until reaching March Road. They will then turn left onto March Road and continue south until reaching the Corkstown Road intersection. Motorists will then turn left onto Corkstown Road and proceed eastbound until reach their destination.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
- Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
