Notice of Overnight Ramp Closure: Moodie Drive at Highway 417

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access Highway 417 from Moodie Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Overnight closure of the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive.
When:
Thursday, July 3 and Friday, July 4, nightly from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Why:
Landscaping and multi-use pathway (MUP) paving.
Where:
Moodie Drive at Highway 417.
Detour
Motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from southbound Moodie Drive will continue south on Moodie Drive until reaching Robertson Road. They will then turn right onto Robertson Road and proceed west until reaching Eagleson Road. They will turn right onto Eagleson Road and continue north until reaching the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
- Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety. Dismount and walk signage will be in place for the cycle lane closures.
