The latest Para Transpo Talk event took place on May 29 during AccessAbility Day at City Hall. We’d like to thank all our customers, families, caregivers, and community members who stopped by.
It was great to hear your stories, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations about accessible transit in our city.
If you weren’t able to join us this time, don’t worry, Next Stop Blog is here to fill you in on everything that was discussed!

New minibuses
One of the highlights of the event was the overwhelming interest in our new 7-metre minibus. The new 7-metre minibuses are comparable to the existing minibus fleet and have the same safety features. This includes a low-floor design, ramp access, and spacious interior.
The most common question we heard was about when the minibuses will be in service. Five of the new 6-metre vehicles are already on the road and our first 7-metre minibus hit the streets on June 9. We’re expecting more vehicles to arrive regularly over the summer.
